Letter from the CEO

A brief history about me, I grew up in Chehalis, WA as one of five children. We didn’t have much growing up, but we had family, and that was more than enough. After graduating High School, I spent 10 years pursuing my dream of becoming a Professional Snowboarder. While that dream never materialized, I never lost the love of the sport and am still an avid Snowboarder to this day. I can’t replace those years, the experience, and the friendships created that I still cherish to this day. At 28 years old, I still had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up, mostly because I had no interest.

Upon leaving Mount Hood, and my snowboard family, I set out to start professional career, and took a job with a dental laboratory. This was not what I envisioned for my life, but it was good job, working for a great employer. The one thing that stuck with me about this job was that by boss offered to assist in building my credit, saving money towards the down payment of my first home, which ultimately allowed me to do so. I share this with you because while this was not what I had envisioned for my life, this job, with this employer proved to be invaluable. And, that is my hope for you and your time with All Ready Moving, that I can assist you in accomplishing whatever it is you set out to do. Whether that be a career with our company, or assisting you building out your business someday.

A brief history of All Ready Moving. I still didn’t know what I wanted to do professionally; my brother ran a moving company part time, and occasionally on weekends I would assist him with moves for extra money. In December of 2002, I stapled a flyer on a bulletin board at the Tumwater Fred Meyer, and haven’t looked back since. I have held every position within All Ready Moving. I started on the truck, and spent the first 10 years moving boxes, loading trucks, booking jobs, all while trying to figure out what I was going to do when I grew up. Looking back, I didn’t have a plan, nor did I envision building the company that you are now a part of. I had one simple goal every day, and that was to ensure that every client move was stress free. This simple goal is the core value of our company and the foundation it was built upon.
